We co-operate with all marine insurance companies in the world, mostly on direct basis. In this manner, we perceive the way underwriters think, understand their philosophy and establish closer business relationships.
We are proud to be working with all marine insurance companies worldwide. Our criteria of choice are dependent not only on international agencies’ acceptable ratings, but also on our experience and knowledge of the market and its people.
All transactions are carried out in absolute transparency and in strict compliance with the highest standards of practice. National is fully audited by internationally accepted professional auditors. We are fully registered and regulated by the Greek Monitoring and Regulatory Authority (the Bank of Greece), as well as other EU regulatory authorities.

Always striving to be of added value to our clients and following encouragement by the underwriters and the P&I Clubs, we have since the mid 90’s adopted a “direct” approach with most of the insurance markets and all P&I Clubs to provide quick, transparent and cost efficient service. Our choice of placing co-brokers is driven by strong relationships with companies which share our philosophy, principles and ethics.

The limited local marine underwriting capacity leads us to be impartial in our choice of underwriters that constitute a marine insurance contract. Irrespective of the nationality of the participating underwriters our focus is not only on price but also on quality.
Our team has an aggregate experience exceeding 150 years. We are proud to say that our service ranks amongst the best in our industry operating under totally transparent criteria.
